Pinterest Pin with multiple images: what you can download
Updated on October 24, 2026
Some Pins have more than one image: you swipe sideways and the others show up, or the Pin has several pages, like a step-by-step recipe or craft project. Right now, PegaPic only delivers the first image or page of these Pins. This guide explains what you get, why, and how to keep the rest.
What you get when you paste the link
- Pin with several images: the list shows Download image, with the first one, at the largest size Pinterest stores.
- Pin with several pages: you only get the first page, with the button for its type: image, video or GIF.
- The other images: they don’t show up in the list. There’s no button for them and no way to download them all at once.
We’d rather say this here than leave you looking for a button that doesn’t exist. If this changes, this guide will change too.
Why only the first one
The tool reads the Pin’s public page and takes its main file, which is the first image or page. The others sit in a part of the Pin it doesn’t read yet. Everything else works as with any Pin: the image comes at the largest size stored, with no recompression, and its size shows under the button.
Step by step for the first image
- Copy the Pin link. In Pinterest, open the Pin, tap Share, then Copy link.
- Tap Paste. Open pegapic.com.br in your browser and tap Paste. The search starts on its own.
- Tap Download image. The image goes to your Downloads folder; on iPhone, to the Files app.
Size and format details are on the Pinterest image downloader page.
How to keep the other images
Through Pinterest itself
The Pin’s three-dot menu may have a Download image option, in the app or on the Pinterest website. On a Pin with several images, check which one it saves: the behavior changes with the kind of Pin and the app version.
On the source site
Many Pins lead to the site the image came from, like a recipe blog, a store or the creator’s portfolio. The link shows on the Pin itself, as a button or the site’s address. There, the full set is usually complete, sometimes at a larger size, and with the creator’s credit. For patterns, recipes and step-by-step projects, that’s the best way.
With the Save button
If you just want the Pin at hand, the Save button keeps the whole Pin, with all its images, on one of your boards. It doesn’t put a file on your device, but you’ll find the Pin later, even if you forget where you saw it.
A screenshot, as a last resort
A screenshot captures the image at screen resolution, along with buttons and bits of the app. It’s fine as a quick reference for yourself. For printing or using in your own materials, the result is usually poor.
Ask the creator
To print, publish or use the images in a project, the best file is the original. Find the creator, tell them what you want the images for and ask for the files. Many creators sell or share the full set on their own site.
When the first image won’t download either
- The screen says it couldn’t find the Pin. It may have been deleted, be on a secret board or belong to a private account.
- The screen says the link doesn’t point to a Pin. You copied a board or a profile. Open the Pin and copy its link.
- The list showed a video. On a video Pin, you get the video, not the cover image.
- “The links have expired.” Links last about 15 minutes. Tap Get new links.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a Download all for Pins?
No. For a Pin, the list shows its main file: the video and audio, the image or the GIF. There’s no .zip with all the images.
Does the first image come at its original size?
It comes at the largest version Pinterest stores for that Pin, which is usually the file the creator uploaded.
Can I paste a board link to download all its images?
No. The site works with one Pin at a time, and board links are refused.
Can I use the images I downloaded?
For reference and personal use, yes. To publish them or use them in a product, ask the creator for permission. The guide can I use Pinterest images? explains the difference.
